Fun with Lipu and Back to Drawing!

I was playing with Lipu Yesterday and decided to dress her in the Pink exclusive outfit... Yup, I'm gonna keep it! LOL
She is such a cutie! I love her eyes and her hair. It will be interesting to see the new Lipu coming out, because her hair is braided and a darker shade of red!!

Then, I recently bought 3 sketch books via Hobby Lobby, Stateside. They were on sale and I wanted to get one for Taby, and one she gave to her boyfriend! They both love to doodle... So, I figured why not nurture them with a hardbound sketch books, instead of using those cheap composition books! One I kept for myself below... They only give random colors. Oh well. Lucky, I love blue!
Then, I started drawing. I used to love drawing as a teen. Then, in college I took an art class and truly enjoyed it. But it was more of an elective than a major... Still, I am glad that I can still draw!
Another one I did earlier this week!

Faller "A" Frame HO Scale House!

I was able to work on the HO scale house I got in the mail the other day!!
The box was a bit crushed, but all the parts inside were fine. The instructions below, not so much. Very moldy, even makes me sneeze! Ah choo! I started to work on it, but then realized I didn't have the plastic styrene cement! Ugh!
Then, realized when I looked in my tool kit, I did!! Yay! So, I started working on it right away...
The front above and the backside of the house when I finished. It came with cardboard cutouts for the drapes on the windows and doors. But I decided not to use all of them, because I wanted to put the HO scale furniture I had inside!!
I decided not to glue the roof completely on...
A view from the front. Hard to believe its such a tiny house!?

Inside the house above and below. I had to allow some light in so you can see the tiny furniture inside...

Then, I got mail today! Below a small packet from Yahoo Japan! A lot of small memo pads, etc.

The largest memo of the group above and below, by Sachiko. Lovely retro girl anime!
Below, a really tiny Pe Po Memo!

My favorite of the Lot, Yukiko Tani memo. I've often seen these memos. But they have always eluded me -_-; Finally, I won it in this lot!!
Comes with a tiny pencil too! Has some writing inside, but still very nice! Some I will add to the shop, and some I have to decide on?!! LOL

New Items in from Yahoo Japan!!

Here what came in the mail today...
I surprisingly won another wonderful mint Funny Tails Pitcher House, a cute Miyako Maki memo booklet, and two of the Azone shop staff outfits for Lil' Fairy!!
Here are the exclusive Azone Shops Lil' Fairy Staff outfits, that were only sold in stores on New Year's Day! I was able to buy both fashions and I hope to have them available in my For Sale page soon! There is only the blue and pink sets, one of each!

Then, this amazing Miyako Maki memo booklet! Very different from most of the memo booklets I've found. Generally, they have a section for you to put tokens for the train or bus. But this one has a zipper and pouch instead!
Gorgeou Miyako artwork on the front and back side, and note book as well!

Backside above, top corner, I was able to unfold and straighten out. I love Miyako M.'s draws her retro girls eyes! Very dreamy!
Below, the backside of the notebook as another anime artists work. At the moment I forget the name of this artist... sorry! Update: Artist is Tamura Setsuko.
I am still debating on whether to add this memo to the shop or not?
What made me get this memo, the beautiful artwork above, that I've seen in many of Miyako's notebooks, shoujo mangas and Shijitaki cards!

Funny Tails Pitcher set. So nice and mint. I had to take it out of box to see all that comes with it!!
Set includes, pitcher, lid, couch, bookshelf, stool, dress form, mirror, sewing machine, and booklet.
 What it looks like inside...

The Staff outfits are gorgeous! I just had to try them on my MMS Alice!

I also won this Faller HO Scale "A" Frame house kit. Can't wait to put it together! More on this one, in a later post!

More on The 3-Tiered Glico Container Set...

I first wrote about this miniature set here! I finally, took out my vintage Scarlet dresser and did a little scene to showcase the containers below! Enjoy!
I've seen these containers once or twice, and was amazed to find it up for auction recently. Generally, they sell and I lose out because of the end price. But I guess this was my time to get it and won it for fairly cheap. It just reminds me of similar containers that are human-size. So, to have this set in miniature, about 1/6 in scale, was just too good to pass up!

Wish I had more miniature jewelry and things to place into each container... But, it still turned out nicely...

Doing Some Errands...

While my husband had his physical therapy session today. I took a leisurely stroll to the nearest Tokyo Mart in Tamuning, and here's what I found!
Not my photo above. Tokyo Mart is a store that sells many Japan made items! So, if I need my Japanese candy fix, this is the place I go too! Located close to Cost-U-Less in Tamuning, which is also by Applebee's. I think this store is similar to the "7/11's" they have in Japan, selling snacks, drinks, bento lunches, etc..
I found so many goodies today, but these were the items I walked away with!! Sadly, it's quite expensive even though the US dollar is doing well?! Go figure?! There was so much more I wanted to buy! Maybe next time?!
I found, Dars Uji Matcha. Looks delicious, and I can't wait to try it!!
Dars white chocolate for Taby! My daughter loves white chocolate more!!
This colorful yummy sticky rice ball also called, "Hanami Dango". On Guam this is similar to the texture and flavor of "Potu". Our version is made similar, the difference is that ours has, "Tuba" in it. You can read more about it here in this blog, Annie's Chamorro Kitchen!
Also these delicious "Strawberry" Milky Candies! Rare, and will now become a new favorite for us!! I need to remember to get some for my sister to take for my next trip stateside!! LOL

Hopefully a box will be in soon... ?
